I spent a couple of lunchhours this week playing with my new camera. I wandered through the parks near my work and found some great flowers to take pictures of. It was cloudy most of the week, which is not my favorite for picture taking, but i guess you don't have to worry about shadows and glare and stuff like that, so i suppose it's a good time to take pics.
Anyway, enjoy some of my fave's that I have captured with "Rebs" this week!
My good friend Theresa is uber good at giving me stealth shout-outs in her blog postings. But seeing as this posting is all about her and her cel-o-bration of the day of her birth, this is my way of returning a shout out in a not-so-stealth way!!

I love taking pictures!!! A couple of years ago I got a little digital camera for Christmas. It's done pretty well for me the past few years. However, I am taking a couple of good trips this summer, and wanted a camera to help me capture my adventures. So thanks to my income tax return, I decided it was time to retire my little PowerShot A520....
Please help me welcome the newest member of my family, the Canon Rebel Xti (shall I call you "rebs"?!!) I got it this weekend and I can't wait to find some time to play around with it and see all it can do!!!!!

Ok so after a couple of really nice days that made us think it was spring time, I awoke to snow the other day. This really did not impress me that much. I would like warm temps, sun and all things spring and summer to begin....enough of winter already!!!
